Normal

I recognize that posts have been less frequent as of late, and I apologize for that. As I have been trying to ascertain what the cause may be I have only been able to come up with one thing: we have reached normalcy.

When we first moved, everything was new and exciting; we started driving here, I got dysentery, we kissed a giraffe, and we got a house and a car.  It seems that now we just go about our weeks and schedules just like we always have. We no longer are surprised to see a motorcycle carrying a man and a goat, we do not get too worried when the power goes out (with is less and less frequent these days, PTL), overall the sights and smells are just what you get when you live in this beautiful place.

Don't get me wrong, there are still many times that Kyle and I ask ourselves "Is this really home?" There are times when we are reminded that we picked up our lives and moved half way across the world about five months ago. There are times when the Lord shows us how he is bringing his kingdom and how awesome Uganda and the people here are. We need to get better at telling you and showing you these things but we thought we should explain a bit about how we are feeling.

These are two sights that we see often, this one is at one of the larger intersections in town.

This is on the way to both Rhona's (my language coach) and Francis's (Kyle's language coach) homes, they just happen to live in the same direction from our house and so we pass on this road often. This is also the road we can take to the large outdoor produce market.
