Our first ten days here in Uganda are spent at our Central Region’s office and Guest house called Matoke Inn. We are well taken care of here and are enjoying this time. Matoke can accommodate about 12 guests at a time. I thought I would show you around the place…

One great thing about Matoke is that they have great food. On Saturday night we had really good pizza and then chocolate cake for dessert! We were stuffed from the amounts we ate. For lunch and dinner we eat on patio that is screened in, for breakfast we have a buffet of toast, cereals, bananas, tea and coffee.
At the end of these ten days we are not sure where we will be. We still do not have a place to live. Our Unit Leader has looked around and found some flats (apartments) that are still being built and were told that they would be done in 3 weeks. We drove by them and saw that 3 weeks was a definitely an optimistic guess. We are praying that the Lord would reveal to us his plan on where he wants us to live and we are also praying that he reveals that to us soon.
Thanks so much for keeping us updated on everything you are doing and learning. I love to hear about it. Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah for the updates. I told Kyle we never tire of them-it is never enough!! Praying for you for just the right place- we know God's timing is always best, just hard to wait for it when you so long to be "settled". People are always coming up to me and asking how you are doing or telling me how they enjoyed hearing about things on the blog. You are loved!
