These days have been filled with the ordinary, the mundane, the surprising, the inspiring. They have had frustrations and they have been rewarding. These are the days I feel like I will always remember. Kyle leaves around 8:30 or 9 for meetings at church or with individuals Tuesday through Friday. I am grateful to have Kyle back home for lunch almost every day before he heads back out in the afternoon for meetings, errands, or study time. Obie and I fill our days with lots of play, laundry, cooking, hosting visitors, and taking walks to our local produce guy.
These days Kyle is busy with several administrative task at church as his role as elder continues to take on more responsibility. He continues to enjoy the relationships he has with some great men at UCF and they are able to encourage one another, partner in Yahweh’s work, and see some of fruit of their labor. Continue to lift up the leadership of UCF in prayer.
These days Obie will often take his afternoon nap with only a diaper on as his room is about 80 degrees F.
These days meal times are usually messy, happy times.
If it was up to Obadiah he would have his pacifier in his mouth nearly all day every one of these days.
These days you may see us driving around Kampala in this swagger wagon.
Since the Allen's new addition we decided we should get a car that could fit all seven of us (with the 3 little ones in car seats) thankfully we were able to trade in our smaller SUV for this beast.
These days we do feel Yahweh’s hand on us, leading us and reminding us why he has us here in Kampala. We are thankful. Some of these days are challenging, causing us to rely more and more on Yahweh’s strength and timing of things. These are the days that Yahweh has made, we will rejoice and be glad in them.
