On Good Friday, our church hosted another "Passion Night" and conference. In the afternoon there was a conference/seminar and then at night (7:30-11:00) there was a time of worship.
Our church community really looks forward to these times and we were glad we could join them for a bit of it.
Obie stayed up way past his bed time. We are currently in "rainy" season and most nights the temperature will come down into the low 60's (thats fahrenheit). Not that we are cold by any stretch of the imagination but with the breeze we had on Friday, Obie had to cover up a bit.
Pastor Micah spoke about the freedom that is only found in Christ.
We had a wonderful Eater weekend; worshiping our King on Friday, having several friends over on Saturday, and on Sunday after going to church we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
