This last Saturday our church hosted a "Kid's Fun Day" and invited the children that attend our church regularly (many are from the slums around UCF) as well as a few other local church's that brought more children and some leaders to help. I am not sure on the total number but I think there was about 175 kids that came to church from about 9am-4pm that day. This was not our first "Kids Fun Day" since we helped out with one last year on our visit here (last year there were 500 kids so this was a bit different experience than that). We were anticipating this day and were excited to hang out with so many great kids.
Throughout the day there is singing, Bible lessons, many games, food, and at the end of the day the students got the opportunity to share what they have learned, it was darling. The children were divided into 5 groups which became their teams for the competitions. Kyle and I each helped out in a group with the games and teaching the lessons. We had a lot of fun and we very tired after the day was over.
